MessageTo be a vampire this day and age for me has been hard. I owe my strength and growth to websites and lessons I have learned over the years that have helped me through my awakenings....People I have met and places I have been have taught me that we all have to look out for each other. It is not going to get easier. So as soon as this one stops gossiping or that one stops wanting to be famous or that one was accused of being a drama queen or king (whichever you like), as soon as we take responsibility for our actions only then will we see growth in our community and real unity happen. That is why I am so honored to be able to read information at websites like this. It keeps me focused on the real issues that we as vampires face. Thank you Lady CG and company for the work that you all do in "OUR" community......

Until the night,
Lady Aliana

MessageHello, boys and girls, I'm the Voice of Reason. It sure has been a while since we last talked, huh? Gosh, just reading all of your posts is really taking me back to the good old days, back when you weren't all stupid... but I digress.

I come to you now in your hour of greatest need, returning to you the ability for cognative thought that you seem to have misplaced.

You are not vampires, and I can prove it. In fact, I will prove it, right now. Would you listen to logic if I were able to prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that you were simply an ordinary human with pasty skin and a phobia for garlic? Is that really so much to ask, that you not remain deliberately obtuse? If it is, you had best stop reading now because the truth will shatter your "reality."

How long would you say you have now spent reading this post? A minute, perhaps 90 seconds? Let us assume that you are some sort of superhumanly intelligent being and read all of the above in 30 seconds. That would mean that you have stared at this screen for only 30 seconds; let's assume you had the monitor turned off until you viewed this very page. Even assuming all of that, you have absorbed into your body more electromagnetic radiation (UVA, to be precise) than you would get from twenty minutes of direct sunlight. Now, I ask you... how long have you spent before your computer screens? If you WERE vampires, you would already be DEAD.

I hope reality doesn't come as too of much a shock.
