MessageMy grandfather was born somewhere in Italy, we are unable to find out where. I've been cooking Italian recipes since I was a little girl. My dad taught me the ones he could remember. I'm currently cooking pepperanada (I think that's what it is called) with eggplant, peppers, onions and tomatoes. I'm going on memory because I certainly cannot find any recipes on line. Can you help? Also maybe you could help us discover what part of Italy my dad's family is from. I don't know how to go about finding that information. I'm so glad I found your website. Thanks.

MessageHello!

I like your site, it has a nice clean appearance, and I enjoyed the recipes. We live in Umbria, but will have to leave for business reasons. We have found - unfortunately - that when you have eaten in Umbria for 4-5 days, you have exhausted the menu! It's a good thing my wife is 1/2 Italian (the other half is Belgian, so I'm always overweight!).

I appreciate how you have "translated" the recipes into N.American measures - and ingredients - that's not always easy to do, and the videos, too.

Good luck with the website!

MessageI just discovered your site and really am enjoying it.

What brought me here is the search for the perfect anise biscotti. I just returned from Florence and the Tuscany region, and found them everywhere. I figured I could just find a great recipe and do them here - easier said than done.

Do you have a great recipe for me? I'll keep checking your site, but if you have any good info, I'd love to hear it.

Grazie!!

MessageHi,

I'm hoping you can help me.

There is a restaurant here in Kingston that serves a dish called Penne Diavolo. It contains chicken, mussels and shrimp with a delicious hot cream sauce.

I would love the recipe for this.

Any Ideas?
