| Message | Tarlac 70's Continuation:
I still had a vivid memory of our beloved town in Tarlac during the late 60's and early 70's. That was the time when you know every family in and around Tarlac proper. The notables of course were the Tanedo's, Briones, Urquico, David, Pascual,De Leon, De Jesus, Soliman,Cura, Aganon, Cruz, Romero, Ilagan, Consul, Escalona,Dizon,Villaroman,Santos, Quiambaos, Vega, Geronimo, Lugay, Flores, Pare,Paras, Buan, Navarro and so many more which I don't remember because it was so long ago. Most of the sons and daughters of these families either went to study at The Holy Spirit or Don Bosco Academy and Tarlac High School. Meanwhile on the Tsinoys..there is the Bayanihan Institute.Of course we have the Osias Colleges and Tarlac State University. I still remember that we had exposition between these schools and it was fun because we learned to know and learn from such events. We had the science exposition, sports, and other competition. The old Tarlac was filled with excitement and fun..those memories will live forever in my mind. |
