| Message | I am a Dane lover and have lived with 3 danes, all rescues, all black. Lost my 10 yr old in May due to cardio myopathy,(he was our love for 9 years),lost our 5 yr old rescue with wobblers after 1 year, and now with 3 yr old Maggie, our first girl. Love her to bits but remain a boy Dane lover.All have had natural ears which is my preference. We just love all dogs and I have 2 other breeds I thought I would want but can't stop wanting another Dane....we haven't had a puppy for about 15 years and I belong to a Dog training club and would love to start a pup from scratch. Training our past and current dogs has been a super experience for them and for me, especially obtaining CD's on 2 Danes.I constantly check your site plus Allydane and Rockingdane. We are going to pursue the adoption process seriously in 2007...I may retire in 2007 but my husband is retired, so either way, we are home for a baby.We live on 7 fenced acres with a Dane, a shepherd X (rescue), a horse and a few sheep. I've been around "gaints", Newfoundlands, through my teenage years and now that I'm all grow up I'm ready to get a dog of my own and would really like to have a "gaint" with a little less fur and slobber of my own! Your Danes are beutiful and I hope to have one of my own some day too. Emily |
