| Message | Thanks to Alan for all the work. I was at CGS from 1956-61. I have contact with Terry Edwards, Delia Lyne, Chris Scott, May Billingham and Gary Young from my year and Helen Amiry and Eileen Brown from 2 and one year below. I worked at Firth Park Grammar School on leaving and then applied to Nonington College of Physical Education in 1963. Since then my life has been an adventure which I am still living. Thanks to CGS and its wonderful staff and Headmaster(Mr Harvatt - hope that's the correct spelling my memory isn't what it used to be) who didn't mind where you came from but worked hard to see that you moved on to be the best you could possibly be! I will be forever in their debt, especially Mrs Butler (Miss Ralph), Mr Walker and Mr Harvatt. WISHING YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HEALTHY AND HAPPY 2011! |
