I was there from 1963 to 1969 (I think) along with the likes of Ian Stockley (broke his arm playing Rugby) , Alan Clarke( sad to see that he has passed away) and Alan Stretch - along with others . Am now living in the far `north of Scotland and have jus retired as the NFU~ Scotland `Secretary for the area. Will try to send an updated photo and start to get in touch with others . | Message | Hi Folks, I'm a 1954 old boy,retired last year and now living with my wife Gemma and my two boys Matthew and Jacob in Saint Paul's Bay,Malta.I've worked abroad since about 1978,so havent seen a lot of Sheffield since then,being first in Libya and then in and around Barcelona,Spain.I worked as a Chief Technician in HIT Libya,and then as an English teacher and translator in Spain.I've seen and enjoyed a fair bit of Libya and Africa,and travelled around Spain on many occassions. I've kept in touch with Paul Clarke,and more occassionally with Eric and Jeanette Aston and now and then with David Seton.I met some more classmates at Richard Hibberd's garden party,but for others it is many years since we met. It will be good to meet up again at the Diamond Dinner which I am attending,and hear some of your life stories! All the Best till then,Omnes Amici,[email protected] |

| Message | Hi Class of '64, sorry that I couldn't meet up with you again on my last UK trip, but did get to have dinner with Philip & Pauline Wright and Val & Peter Stocks. Due to us running a pretty tight schedule, they were kind enough to come out to Rowsley in Derbyshire or we would have missed them. Had a great time reminiscing old times and looking at old photos that they brought along with them. | Message | I was at CGS from 1960 to 1965, and wondered if there are any plans for a reunion for pupils from this period? Names that spring to mind - Alan Hoole, Keith Dagnall, David Glover, Susan Jeffcock, Kay Towler, Pat Hemmings, Jennifer Marah, Trevor Pollard, Lawson Ayrton, Stephen Perry, John Elswood, Neil Lovell, Graham Lawrence - and so many more!! | Message | What a lovely evening and catch up we had last night at the 2014 CGS reunion at the Old Horns, Bradfield. Many thanks to Malcolm and Dorothy for organising it. Also to Lynda for her delicious sweets and to cap it all a good old sing song with accompaniments on the guitar from Les Coburn and Gary Young. Looking forward to next years reunion on the 17th of June 2015 when we will all be in[dare I say it] our 70th year. |

| Message | MARK Re Sandra Woodhead If you look at my message in guest book 14/7/2013 I have been asking 'where are you now' for years. On 4b photo see top row. Remember most of those in photo but since being in OZ no contact from any one. I do have an article on a holiday to Belgium which is on site - not sure if Sandra was on the trip. Not many of us could afford a camera in those days, but the teachers had them but I was not one of the "preferreds" any way. Am same age as Sandra = 75 in July. First and only job was Town Hall - Vehicle Licensing and then Treasury Rates and then finally House Purchase. Peter Colley was one of the BRAINS - he has a communication on site on his retirement. In Oz played cricket with all the Chappell brothers at Glenelg C.C. Have been an Auditor/ Analyst @ Chrysler Australia then Mitsubishi Australia and retired after being a Casino Auditor @ Jupiters Casino on the fabulous Gold Coast Queensland after 25 years. Still an avid Owls fan. Any relation to Dennis Woodhead the Owls player in the Dooley/Sewell/Quixall/Finney era????? Regards |
