MessageI recently started working at the Gettysburg Visitors Center in the Cyclorama. I have been studying the painting and discovered that I have a connection to both the Codori Farm and John Staub Farm in the painting. John Staub married to Catherine Codori are my great great grandparents. Their daughter Elizabeth Staub is my great grandmother. My grandmother Annie C. Gebhart is the daughter of Elizabeth Staub married to Nicholas Gebhart. My mother Agnes Orndorff married Urban Staub. I am so moved when I view the painting knowing I am looking at my ancestors.Wow!
