Tim, I am a friend of Carl, and he was kind enough to share the link with us. You have my condolences and are in my prayers. It's never easy losing a loved one. The only good thing that comes out of this is knowing that they are not suffering anymore and are with the Lord. One day we will all be together again. Our time in earth is only borrowed time, but with the Lord it's for eternity. So be strong, live your life in the most positive way you can, and enjoy the simple things in life. God Bless you and your family. Dee aka "Friskydee" smilie

MessageHave you ever searched for a lost object and finally found it in the exact place where you were sure it would not be? What other things do you routinely overlook because you're certain they're not there? How many creative ideas never come to you because you're already certain of what does and does not work. How many prospective customers do you fail to approach, because you're certain they would not be interested? Does your certainty limit you? Is your certainty really certainty, or is it just an unwillingness to explore other options? There are times when we must think and act with certainty, and yet much of what we think of as certainly is just plain stubbornness. Your certainty is largely a result of your experience. Keep in mind that a whole world of possibilities exists beyond that experience. Yes, it is easier to reject new ideas without considering or exploring them. Yet if you already know it all, how is it possible to learn? It's great to be certain and confident. Just don't let your certainty blind you to the reality of what's possible.

MessageFighting frustration with frustration, or fighting anger with anger, will only make matters worse. When events and circumstances have you frustrated, discouraged and too focused on what's wrong with life, it's time to change course. Turn yourself around. Rather than escalating the negative, do something positive. Give of yourself, play a game with your children, find someone to whom you can say "thank you." There are many beautiful and valuable aspects to your life -- the people you love, experiences you've had, your spiritual faith, things you treasure and enjoy, places you've been, and everything that brings a sense of pure joy to you. Refuse to let the negative influences control you. Draw strength from the beauty and wonder that is your life. Take the high road, and transcend the negative. When you're heading down the road of negativity, turn yourself around.

MessageTO TIM, SON OF JOAN.
AS FAR AS "JOAN'S" SITE IS CONCERNED, I KNEW JOAN FROM HER SISTER HESTER WHO I WAS DATING WAY BACK IN 1949 WHEN I WAS STATIONED AT FORT GORDON, GA AND THE BELLAMY FAMILY WAS LIVING IN NORTH AUSUSTA , S.C. MY NAME IS LEO J AIELLO AND HAVE BEEN LIVING IN PEARL CITY, HAWAII FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. I THOUGHT THE SITE IN MEMORY OF YOUR MOTHER WAS VERY NICE AND WELL PUT TOGETHER.
I HAVE BEEN EMAILING YOUR UNCLE CARLIS FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS. I TRIED SIGNING MY NAME TO THE GUEST BOOK BUT HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL IN MY ATTEMPTS. GOD BLESS YOU ANF THE FAMILY!
SINCERLY,
LEO J. AIELLO
