| Message | Evening Lilith, I've reached this point in the great work... in my own personal alchemical process. My map of the universe has evolved so much over the past few years. However, it's gotten to this point where I'm struggling to move forward. Most of my work over the past four years has involved devouring as much occult philosophy as possible; distilling, meticulously separating the subtle from the gross. As for applied magick, however.. though I've gathered quite an extensive library of texts, for example Crowley's Liber ABA (books I-IV), Israel Regardie's Tree of Life, etc, something has held me back. My understanding of the language of symbols and correspondences has reached more than a sufficient level. Perhaps I'm afraid of failure; because you see, What I'm aiming for is nothing less than a reality-shattering experience. All of my work I've done on my own. All of what has been attracted into my spiritual life thus far has done so according to nature's whim. She threw me into the abyss and now I have the opportunity to realize something truly divine within myself. I've gotten to the point, however, where I feel I should seek inspiration outside of my own microcosm. Given your experience with applied Magick, I'd love the opportunity for a dialogue. | Message | Satanism is the only belief/religon that i think is even sane. The satanic way is how i have lived always. Like Peter Gilmore said the satanic bible changed his life, it did mine in the fact that i now study satanism, religion was never part of my life, was never interested. But i am slightly confused when it comes down to the magic perspective. In the satanic bible it says in the beggining "herein you will find truth-and fantasy. Each is necessary for the other to exist; but each must be recognized for what it is." Anyway, when it comes down to hex's and curses ect... do you perform these rituals? Have they ever helped you? Or do they help you as a form of psyciatry maybe? I still have much to learn in certain areas, but i just want to hear from other satanist. I also own the satanic rituals and have not read it front to back multiple times like the bible but have more less scanned through and given certain parts attention. As a satanist, to me, the rituals and magic is like a therapy, and done as part of the religion, to represent. Though i have never played part iv scene some clips on you tupe of rituals from satanis with LaVey and think its badass. HAIL SATAN!!! |
