| Message | Pleased to meet you... I have been into this craft since I was 8 years old and fully came into it at 18. I will be 30 in may and have had 4 children since then, all of which are led to their own beliefs, I do not condone any religion being forced onto a child like it was for me. My father happens to be a Wiccan(I think he is into white magic, I'm not sure)he claims he is a powerful wizard and some of the spells he casts literally work. I have cast 7 spells in my lifetime so far and everyone of them has worked. I do believe that I also have a goddess named "Desdemona" that appears to be part of me as dictated by events and dreams that I have had so far growing up, strange but believable I guess. | Message | VS, thank you for mentioning #Occult_Practice. However, on your irc recommendations page, above OP being mentioned, #occult_knowledge is also listed. While I found OP useful and friendly, occult knowledge kicked me for being in both channels at once. When I appealed to an op in occult knowledge, I finally was allowed in under the condition that I leave occult_practice when I join occult knowledge. I didn't like this, but I wanted to see what the other channel was about. When I entered I was probed with endless questions about my practice, when I asked about their practice I was met with a quick and vague answer, followed by more probing into my practice and some laughter among them and attempts to pigeonhole me. I figured from the initial kick it was a clique full of ego-worshipping self-masturbatory zombies, and this is what I feel that it must be, for there is no reason to be so rude, to exclude others, and to peck at a new person so relentlessly unless there is a negative reason behind it for doing so. I enjoy discussions in your recommended occult_practice channel, but the occult_knowledge channel was a negative experience for me, I suggest you remove mention of it from your site unless you want others to receive the same treatment.
