MessageIt gives me an immensed pleasure to say that the work with a best missionary spirit carried by Ms Aishah Schwartz deserves our all support and appreciation.

Prophet Mohammad Pbuh said, The best among the mankind are those who are benefiacial for the mankind.

Great Spiritual Master Rumi said, When you escape from selfness, you became wholly the proof of God- Allah. Once the slave in you disappears, you are the king of kings. Rumi further says,

"Be silent! because of the Divine treasure and mine we have freed ourselves of earning, of pocket and market. Listen, end your talk with these words: when the sun rises we get rid of a watchman, a thief and a dark night."

May Allah bless Sister Aishah's noble mission with further and greater success.

MessageDear Aisha,

Thank you for posting the video of the demonstration in Gaza, December 31. The week after Christmas when the Israelis were bombing Gaza I was so distraught I could not sleep. I searched the internet looking for blogs to protest. I attempted to call and send messages to my government officials. I could not believe that President-Elect Obama for whom I had voted with such hope was not speaking out. I was ashamed that my government did nothing to stop the Israelis. I contacted my Muslim friends and said what can I do? Is anyone demonstrating? I went to a protest at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC on New Year's Day. I went to a rally at the White House and marched with what looked like tens of thousands of Muslims whom I was told came from up and down the East Coast of the United States. There was very little in the news. No coverage of the huge march. I continue to be appalled that my government has done little or nothing to make the israelis lift the blockade of Gaza. The pictures my friends have sent to me break my heart. I hope that every country in the world will send ships with aid until the blockade is lifted and all the homes, businesses, and schools in Gaza are rebuilt, and people who live there are free.

Sondra

MessageThanks for the email about the blog. I recognised you from the time we were in Gaza for the March, though we didn't get to talk.

MessageI found your story to be very inspiring. I converted to Islam last year, and have not made the decision to incorporate Hijab into my everyday life. Mainly, out of fear of retribution from an employer. I am the sole supporter of 4 children, and cannot risk being terminated. But after reading your text, I feel more inspired. Thank you
