MessageI served with 3 Para in N. Ireland 1971 and 1973, Cyprus 1972, Ghana, I was 23 Para Fld Amb. Although we have attended a reunion at Blackpool 2018 I am not sure if I am a member of the Reunion Club. Hello,
regarding the sad death of Lt Col Peter Walters.
We do not necessarily report deaths of people who are not members of the Reunion Club, which he wasn't.
However his passing has been reported on various other regimental websites and on Facebook.
He was the Commandant of the Battle School when I did my Junior Brecon course. He was a very memorable character to say the least.

MessageI find it very sad that to date, there has been no mention of the fact that Lt Col (Retd) Peter Walter MC & Bar passed away in August 2019 aged 91. After all he was OC "B" Coy 3 PARA in the Radfan when he was awarded the bar to his MC.
