| Message | Hello, Ladies. I am so impressed with your Christian sorority. You are giving all the saved ladies an oppurtunity to join an organization with morals and values that suit their lifestyles. I too am in college and am researching sororities although the college that I am transfering to does not have something like this. I am saved and that would be my issue-finding an organ. that won't compromise my witness and deal with the fact that I am married w/ a family and work full time. I love the Lord and I would find it great to belong to one such as yours-if I could afford it. Anyway, just wanted to say God bless you and I thank God for Ladies like you on college campuses because you are an alternative to those who live a different way and want to associate themselves with like minded people. | Message | Hello, I came across your site while doing an information search on AOL. I was looking for Christian Sororities. I attend Florida Memorial University, here in Miami, Florida. As you may know, we are a historically black university. As you may also know, along with an HBCU comes the usual Greek fraternities, and sororities. However, my dilemma is this, those sororities do not appeal to me as a young, black, lady of Christ. My mother pledged herself, back in the day lol, as an Alpha Kappa Alpha. She denounced all of it once she received Christ in her life. I've always been told that pledging was my decision, and that my mother's decision to denounce her membership was her choice. Pledging a Typical sorority such as, AKA, or Delta does not appeal to me. I wanted to find a group that will allow me to grow spiritually, as well as, be apart of something that will allow me to fellowship with other young people of Christ, and grow socially. After reviewing your site, I like what I see so far. I'm almost certain that my school does not have a chapter of Alpha Lambda Omega, and I think it's entirely our loss. Many young women like me, like the idea of being apart of a group of women, joining together for a cause, but we do not want to compromise their beliefs. Please send me some information on possibly starting a chapter at my school. I am very new to this....thanks for reading this, and thanks for any information u can provide. God Bless... Angel Polk |

Coming to your website has allowed me to be convicted of my laziness in my walk with God. After reading what was written in your link "about Christianity" I was made to realize that I have been lazy in doing my part in my relationship with God, and I have made up in my mind to do better. I attend the University of West Alabama and I would love for a chapter to be started on campus.
