| Message | When i first heard there was a christian sorority my mind was blown and I couldn't imagine it until my brother told me about it: he is a gamma phi delta and I was surprised and I didnt believe him I had to see it for myself. I thought sisterhood was for people who really needed it and didnt understand who they wee but overtime I have bgun to see that it is truly more than that. As I am looking into sororities: my main focus is to be in something that makes me happy and fits me best and where God will always ge the glory and I just want to say how amazing it is to see God working through all these gifts and talents he has given his daughter through ministry. So thank yuo because my eyes have truly been opened, and Im thinking hard and seeking God guidance about this unique experience. 2Timothy 1:6-9 This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love, and self-discipline. So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don't be ashamed of me neither. eventhoguh Im in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the good news. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before beginning of time to show us his grace through Jesus Christ. | Message | Hi, my name is Arsma Porter. I was looking at your website, and I am very interested in getting more information about your sisterhood. When I was younger, I only thought there were two sororities I could join, AKA and Delta. When I got to college, I realized there were many sororities, but most of them focused on the social advantages of being a member. I want to be in a sorority for the things I can do for others as well as being bonded with a group of women who fear God and keep Him number one in their lives. I am a freshman at Prince Georges Community College in Maryland majoring in Forensic Science Technology (A.A.S). I am also the mother of four boys two of which are by marriage ages are 21, 21, 20, and 13. I have been an active member in my grandmothers church(who is now the pastor)for as long as I can remember. I've been reading on all the other sororities but really could figure out if I wanted to be a part of their organization. Some how God lead me to your organization. I am truly interested in joining.
