MessageHi Patz,
Pete just showed me your website & I was so blown away by everything I saw & all that you've accomplished! The ark that you made me for my b-day probably at least 30 yrs. ago still sits proudly on my shelf& 2 of my 3 kids insist that it's theirs when I'm ready to give it up! I hope you'll write back sometime when you have a chance. As soon as I send this I'm going to amazon.com to order your book. Take care...love to Mike &Missy! Ilene (Long Island)

MessageArt in the Interim was excellent this year. I loved the environmental vessels because I had the additional challenge of making sure my piece was balanced. Thanks for showing me what the right side of my brain is for!

MessageHey, this is Nathanael, another one of the art students from the 2009 GSSM Interm. The natural vessels were a lot of fun, combining creativity with logic, as pieces not only needed to look good but also not fall apart or tip over. Fun Problem Solving.

MessageHey, I took Art in the Interim at GSSM in 2009. It was a fun and fantastic experience. I loved creating things from natural elements. I loved the challenges that accompany art and the joy of overcoming them.

MessageI had a great time in Art in the Interim making collages... as statement and environmental vessles. Mrs. Patz helped me be more creative and introduced me to a lot of new ideas. Thanks, Mrs. Patz.

MessageGSSM's "Art in the Interim" with Patz Fowle was certainly a different kind of art class from the ones I'd taken before. Without the requirements of the class, I would never have attempted collage art or making sculptures out of materials found in nature. Thank you for a different kind of experience!

MessageDear Ms Patz Fowle,

This Art in the Interim has been really awesome. I have really enjoyed creating our collages, environmental vessels, and also experimenting by combinging the two. The polymer beads were also very cool smilie and I also love how the techniques we learned we will be able to use in the future. I definitely am looking forward to Art in the Interim next year.

-Alexis
