I had a mate round for lunch today and both he and I were amazed at the eel pie. What a thing of beauty. | Message | Thank-you for the lovely pie and mash. It evokes all kinds of memories of queueing to buy liquor as a child with my grandmother-always with a saucepan or jam-jar in hand. My dutch partner had never eaten it before and thought it was far superior to the national dish of fish and chips.Thanks once again for the trip down memeory lane. I've ever known what you do to the pies but you can't buy anything like them!Delicious. |

| Message | hi pieman there are no proper words to say how grateful i am my best mate steven is in a hospice with terminal cancer and the pieman made his dream come true the service and quality of the delivery and pie and mash was unbelievable and all at the piemans expence, he refused to take any payment. steve has eaten for the first time in weeks i can only say many many thanks from me and his mum & dad and brothers we all say hail the pieman he is the best a true gent regards gordon |

Jean Winall was born in Bermondsey and brought up in Southwark spending most of her life in London a great lover of pie and mash, so much so, that she requested authentic pie and mash to be served at her funeral! to me. I know she has already thanked you, but I would like also to say the
pie and mash eels and cockles went down such a treat at my Mums wake. She
would have been so proud that we had managed to get her friends and family
good ole London grub. Not to mention that my brother and I have been
starved of our favourite food for so long. Unless of course we take a trip
up to the smoke, but that is getting less and less as the relations living

| Message |  Received my first order from Eelhouse yesterday. It arrived meticulously packaged and with very generous portions. The pies are large (unlike Cooks frozen), the mash is just right (slightly lumpy as it should be) and the liqour tastes just like it should - it was like eating pie & mash from the London shops I remembered as a child, all that was missing was the marble topped table! Please give this company a try, the service is fantastic and The Pieman (Bob) is a joy to speak to. Very highly recommended. |
