| Message | An atheist doesn't necessarily believe in the Big Bang, although to date that is the best explanation available. We simply don't believe in a superior being. The Christian joke you are parodying is specifically targeted at Christians, who believe specifically in what is written in the joke, ie, the Jewish zombie bit. An atheist does not believe in a god, but the rest is up to science to determine. The nothing into everything explanation is the best we've got so far, and it is hard to understand (I don't quite understand it), but it beats the shit out of a guy in the sky. Although I have to say, I don't rule out the possibility that we are all inside a virtual reality created by some fat, pimply virgin in an alternate universe. |

| Message | My Dearest Squiffy, Happy Birthday to you, our dear, dear friend. You know I wouldn't forget your day. Though we haven't been in touch lately you and your family are always in our hearts and we think of you often. You must be...what? 30 by now!!!  I know you will get many, many wishes today, but I hope you will eventually get ours. All is ok here, plugging away, living from paycheck to paycheck. Nothing much ever changes. As you see, Steve and I are still as happy as ever. This July we'll celebrate our 14th anniversary. Who knew???? It doesn't seem that long ago that we all "met."
