| Message | HI RON ,I RAN ACROSS YOUR WEB SITE IN A SEARCH AND JUST WANTED TO SAY HOW MUCH I ENJOYED IT.I KNOW AND HAD MET AND SEEN THE GUY'S AT CAAS BUT HAVE NEVER MET YOU IN PERSON.I HAD PAUL PLAY ON AN HOUR SET WITH ME AT CAAS AND HE IS A LOTTA FUN TO JAM WITH.I TALKED WITH YOU IN THE LIVE ROOM ON THE COMPUTER KEN AND LEN'S THUMBPICKING ROOM A LONG TIME BACK.I WAS IN ANCHORAGE IN THE LATE 50'S EARLY 60'S AT ELMENDORF AFB.I MARRIED WHILE THERE AND MADE LOTTA TRIPS BACKIN THE 90'S.BOBBY GIBSON TALKS ABOUT YOU OFTEN IN OUR TEXAS PICKING ROOM.I WENT TO THE MONTANA CLUB WHILE IN ANCHORAGE TO LISTEN TO THE GUITAR PICKER WHO PLAYED CHET STYLE AND HAD THE FIRST ECHO PLEX I EVER SAW.I CAN'T REMEBER HIS NAME BUT WAS A GOOD PICKER.I KNOW BOB SAXTON PLAYED THERE BUT CAN'T REMEBER THE GUY'S NAME.YOUR PLACE IS MIGHTY PRETTY.DOES THE DOG RACE COME NEAR YOU?TKAE CARE AND KEEP PICKING, KEN SMITH ARE YOU COMING TO CAAS? |

| Message | Hi, Ron. Nice to see your website is still up and going strong,, and so are you. I remember all the snowmachine rides up in the Pass in Winter, sitting in your cabin eating moose/goose spaghetti (remember that dish), and listening to you and friends jam the night through at a friend's house until the wee hours of the morning. Hearing you play at the TP, etc. Just wondering if the man who was a 2nd Dad to me, Ed Metzker is still around. His phone isn't listed any more, and it was about a year ago. May be heading that way in my RV to sell the jewelry I've been making and designing sometime in the next year. (My business is 3 years old now!) Hope to see you at some point and hear you play again. | Message | Hey Ron; It's me here in Missoula, just spoke with Bug & heard of this site. Good to know that you are alive. I ask Knight & Brandon of you from time to time but nobody can tell me too much. Since we work together in Alaska in 1985, of coarse an entire life has happened to me. I now have kids (youg adults) and a "real job", but I often relish the gigs & partys we had in Ak.(Matinuska Vally), Glad to know that you are doing well, call when you reach Missoula, Knight knows how to contact me.
