Messageloved your site! My wife and I are the owners of two rescued amstaffs. Talk about a couple of clowns! They are both so loving, sweet and a joy to have as part of the family.
We've had Quincy for two years. He came to us with the vague history as being a Katrina dog that got sent up here to Minnesota - not sure of the validity of that part of his story - but he had some basic training, but was pretty unsure and wary of his new surroundings. He also came to us with an incomplete treatment of worms which was not disclosed to us until we had him around our cat and German Shepherd...grrrrr
Roxxi is our second rescue dog. Got her as a pup from a wonderful group called UnderdogRescue here in Minneapolis. She and the rest of the litter were picked up by animal control in town. The fella that owned the bitch couldn't afford to feed the litter. Fortunately they were rescued and fostered very young. She is still very food oriented but thankfully she's not food aggressive and doesn't bother the cats food unless its offered to her.
They are both very social, love the dog park and being with quincys daddy and roxxis momma. A fun thing we noticed is how much Roxxi look like Storm.
If you send us your email add I'll send you some pix of Roxxi and Quincy.

Anyway, thanks for a great blogspot.

MessageAMSTAFFIES ARE NOT PIT BULLS!!!!!!!!!! They are completely different! Look it up on AKC.org - there will be American Staffordshire Terrier and a SEPERATE American Pit Bull Terrier! Believe me or not, they ARE DIFFERENT! I love your dog! It is so cute! I have an Amstaffie too. He is almost all blue. He is hilarious! ROCK ON AMSTAFFIES!!!!!

MessageFollow up Question. My AmStraf is deaf, it that common in white ones for this breed? Training was hard, but he is smart and it worked out. Took ALOT of work at first. He was tryng so hard to please, but just did not understand.

MessageI got a AMStaff thee months ago from the shelter.
I can honestly say this is one of the most friendly dogs I have ever been around. He is the biggest baby ever. I was worried at first. But he is all lover. Plays well with cats/dogs/kids, not sure about a certain exwife, have not tried that yet... JOKING
