| Message | Great site, and congrats on all the work at the museum. As the proud owner of what must be a very rare ejector seat here in Europe, ie the Weber seat from Delta Dart 59 0032, I am currently restoring the seat for display at the Air Corps Museum here in Dublin. As 0032 served out its last ops with the 87th. at Sawyer, the seat has travelled a long way!Hope to visit your museum when next in USA, good luck with your restorations.  |

And Scott is going to lend you his speed handle because there is a million screws in the left wing also. | Message | Hello to everyone. Our reunion last june at Little Michigan was a great success and very enjoyable. It was great to see so many old(er) faces and the memories brought back were never ending. Remember our next reunion will be held in 2008 most likely at the same location. Look for any alumni you may know and have them get me their email addresses so i can add them to my alumni mailing list and keep them updated. I believe Elmer Klein is working with Pat Mcgee on this great web site, if i got the names wrong i appologize. | Message | A super site and thank you for restoring the F-106. I feel it's history and the history of the Air Defense Command is pretty much forgotten by the aviation historians. The F-106 was far ahead of it's time and many of the modern fighters can look to the old Dart technology as it's precursor. I was a Red Bull Dart Driver from 1976 - 1979 and served as the Weapons Training Officer for the last year or so. Had some great times including being one of the first aggressor units to go to Red Flag, and deploying for three weeks to Iceland where we had a good time intercepting Russian Bear bombers. And of course, the Upper Peninsula Experience was great for an ole Texas boy. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the Dart restored! |

| Message | Interesting site. Found it as a link from the FB-111 site. Was stationed at KI 70-75 with the 644th BS. While there I, with my co-pilot Steve Watson, were able to capture the 87th's Bull from its secured briefing room and deliver it to the bomber alert facility briefing room where it was prominently displayed for an appropriate amount of time. Also the 87th prided itself on a drink known as the red bull which was an unhealthy concoction of I forget what, but a bomber guy, me, set the record with 6 during a membership night at the club during Col Mo Shiver's tenure as Wing Commander (73-74). Greetings to all of you Darters from the 70's. |

| Message | Hello everyone: Even thought I'm a retired NAVY MAN I would like to commend you on having a great website and numberous photos of the F-106 being restored.I was an Airdale in the Navy working on A-7A/B aircraft (Aviation Hydraulics). I know what you guys are going throught to get the F-106 prepared for static display by the end of 2006. Hope to visit the museum and see the static displays you have at KIS. Keep up the great work, and I will be visiting the site from time to time. Thank You |
