| Message | My ex, two kids, and I lived at KISawyerAFB in the early 1970's. My ex, Milt Etter, was a navigator on a KC 135. We lived on Hustler Street. I loved my life up there, going to Macinac Island, Escanaba, Marquette, etc. The colors in the fall were incredible. The mosquitoes had can openers for mouths! My daughter was born in 1971 at the base hospital. The bitter cold, wind chill, humidity, SNOW, snowmobiles are all pleasant memories (now!) If we sound familiar to anyone out there, please feel welcome to contact me. I would love to see pictures of the town of Marquette, Gwinn, and the base itself. Thanks for the memories, Pat |
