| Message | Had a great time as usual, even the weather didn't spoil it! Only one thing did - the stall selling CDs sold us a book for £11.99 - we got home and searched online for the CDs mentioned in the book only to find that the book (new) is only £2.95!! What a rip off. The lady on the stall must have seen us coming as she also persuaded me to buy a CD which she said was absolutely fantastic - infact it was the worst music I ever heard! Lessons learnt I think. It's sad though that nice friendly folkies are ripped off. |

| Message | Hi Alec, Just to thank you for the tickets I won for Dent this year. I came with my son, and we had a fantastic weekend. And .......no midges this year! We especially enjoyed the Michael McGoldrick Quartet , John Tams and Barry Coope, Shooglenifty, Rory McLeod, Tim Edey, and the Ceilidh with The Macaroon Ceilidh Band. Great stuff! We look forward to the next spectacular Dent Festival in 2009. |

| Message |  Thanks to the organisers for a brilliant festival. The quality of artists were superb.Only problem now is how to equal it in 2009 ! Constuctive comments would be 1)larger tipi for sessions and 2)more comfortable chairs in the marquee. |

| Message | Thanks to Alec and everyone at the festival who made it all work so well and with such a great feeling and atmosphere. I want to say a huge 'thank you' all of the people who said such encouraging things to me at the festival. We drove away on cloud 9... well a Citroen really. It was great fun for me to be a part of it and I don't do festivals me, but Dent is fabulously unique in every sense. Tony |

| Message | I think Dent is one of the if not BEST festivals in England. Set in the beautiful picturesque Dentdale, with the cobbled streets of Dent just up the lane. You can always find something to do on the festival site. Whether its listening to the heights of Folk music performing , or just watching a group of people having a good old jam. The Crafts and family activities are for all ages to enjoy and are fun for everyone! Just sitting on the field enjoying the superb atmosphere enjoying the real good food and drink , in the June sunshine. Dent is worth going to , and it just gets better and better each year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |
