| Message | Dear Father, There are various activities conducted in the parish which is good. There are activities for 1. Kids and youth like Summer Camps, Career counselling, picnics, etc. 2. Married couples like new year dance parties,other programs, etc. 3. Senior citizens events like elders day, etc 4. Other events like women's day celebrations, houseworkers get-togethers, etc. 5. Latest heard is an event for the in-laws But what I do not see is any event held for the singles of our parish who are looking for life partners, like a 'Singles Meet or Get-together' and other programs. I am sure if this is considered it will help a lot of people who are finding it difficult to find life partners nowadays, considering the various reasons, choices, demands, and mindset that the young people have today. This would give an opportunity for the singles of our parish and also of other parishes in Thane and Mumbai to attend and benefit of these events. Thanks & Regards,Fiona |

| Message | I love to hear when our priest are talking on family values and love between husband and wife Husbands should love their wife and Wife should give in to their husbands but there is something missing in your talk is the Excessive and Expensive demands from the wife which a husband sometimes cannot provide, examples like car, 3 bedroom flats etc. If the husband is earning Rs 50,000.00 per month but the wife will demand 1,00,000.00 per month. The demands never stops it continues till he is forced to go to his grave.I hope our priest take this matter seriously and speak on this matter in every mass and church. |

| Message | As a past resident of Thana, coming from a well-known and respected Thana family (d/o late Hubert & Sylvia de Cunha of Cherai, and daughter-in-law of Phoebe & late Sydney Da Costa of Utalsar), I'd like to wish all of you 'A very Holy, Blessed & Happy St. John's Feast'. Remembering our days and celebrations as a parish community as well as at home, these are nostalgic moments we hold and cherish as a Thaneite. To keep alive the flames of our youth and all that bound us together, we have been holding a Thane Connex Picnic for the past 9 years and have recently started a weekend camping trip for the same purpose, here in Cambridge, ON. Some Thaneites do make the effort to attend but not all can nor not all want to. So these events are for those who want to keep the spirit of Thane alive as it used back in the 80s & 90s!
