MessageHello Warrior Classmates - Thanks for stopping by to read and/or sign our Sibley 1980 website guest book. It's great to hear how & what people are doing.

As for me, I live in Eagan and run my own consumer relations mgmt consulting business, after having worked for Pillsbury, Quaker Oats and Dole Food Company. I returned to MN in 2002 after 15 years away ... it feels great to be home!

The reunion committee is hard at work putting together a fantastic weekend of events ... the Friday night Meet & Greet (8/26 @ SSP VFW) and the main reunion event on Saturday (8/27 @ the Croatian Hall).

We hope you will join us ... not only to see old friends but, maybe to meet some new ones or get to know better some classmates you didn't know well.

I would like to thank the committee for all their hard work. Colleen, Jeff, Vicki, Fitz, Bari & Tim have put in countless hours preparing our gatherings and I've been honored to work with them. There are others who have helped along the way and my thanks go out to them, too!

We've had alot of fun planning the reunion and we look forward to seeing our classmates. For those of you who are unable to attend, you'll be in our thoughts.

Lastly, we do plan to keep this website up to keep our class informed of future events. Feel free to submit changes in your contact information (name, address, phone, email, etc.) to me at [email protected].

Hope to see you at the reunion!

MessageHi Everyone!!! Wow fun to read these entries. I am living in Inver Grove Heights, with about 75% of Sibley graduates from various years. I haven't been to a reunion since 5 year when I was pregnant with my first child. I have three kids, Paul (19), Emily (16) and Nathan (15). They will a graduate (unfortunately) from Simley - with an M. I am working for the Minnesota Attorney General's office and my husband Paul (he's from Winona) is COO at First Farmers and Merchant's Bank. Well I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion.

MessageFYI: We have only 5 weeks left until our reunion! Yikes! If you have not registered please do so ASAP! We have many things we would like to do to make this a great reunion but cannot put them into play without your registrations. Don't forget the great deal Drovers is giving us. $65 DOLLARS A NIGHT! To get this price you must book your room by July 30th and mention Sibley Class of 1980. Drovers is .7 miles from the VFW and .4 miles from the Cro.

MessageDoes anyone know if the class of '75 is having their 30th this year? I was at the cabin this past weekend with several people from that year and they haven't heard anything about their reunion. Thought someone might have an older sibling who may have received some information. Looking forward to seeing everyone in August.

MessageThanks to all of the organizers, the website is great. I can't make the reunion, but I'm sure you all will have a great time. To think it's been 25 years! Two of my three kids have already graduated from Sibley, so I kind of feel like I never left. For those of you who haven't been in the old building since you graduated...it still smells the same. Have fun everyone!

MessageI am so looking forward to our 25th reunion and seeing old friends-- I haven't been home in 5 years and it should be a good time. I'm still living in beautiful Colorado Springs under Pikes Peak, just a few doors down from Focus on the Family where they think SpongeBob Squarepants and one of the Teletubbies is gay, also where religious intolerance & sexual harrassment is common practice at the Air Force Academy--What a town this is!!
Anyway, I'm still married (like forever) and I have three kids: James is 23 and just out of the Air Force (and the war), Doug is 16 (learning to drive, yikes!), and Katie is 13 (going on 17). I currently work at Barnes & Noble as one of the store managers and I love it. Never a dull moment in customer service--a study in human behavior! My husband, Jeff, is currently working for Hewlett Packard, but is soon to be laid off because his job will be outsourced to Costa Rica...it should be an interesting ride.
I look forward to our reunion and having time off and away!! See you soon, MK

MessageHi Colleen!

Great to hear from you (did not connect the Colleen O in the earlier note). You and your husband are always welcome. Have to say that it is a fantastic place to be. While the summers are a bit like Arizona, we rarely get below freezing during the winters! We are just gearing up for shearing which is a major job each year. Enjoy the reunion and keep in touch.

Cheers,
Angie
