MessageB&B Belgravia is almost too good to be true. Perfectly located on Belgravia's Ebury Street, it's a couple minutes walk to Victoria Station and close to Buckingham Palace. There are plenty of good eating establishments within walking distance, including Hunan, an excellent but fairly expensive Chinese restaurant. Karin and Penny, the owners of B&B Belgravia, have created a perfect home away from home for those traveling alone, as a couple, and even for families. For our family of four, we found the family room accommodations more than adequate, and very reasonably priced. The price includes a delicious homemade hot breakfast, shared use of a computer with a high speed internet connection, and a wonderful automated cappuccino machine that is available for use around the clock. It's quiet, secure, and extremely clean. We can't wait to visit again. Check out the website at www.bb-belgravia.com.

MessageBlack & white & chrome with sea-glass blue accents is not the usual design for an English b&b. But it is a super place to stay - AND pretty! The modern decor is warmed by the graciousness of the hostess. It is only a few blocks from Victoria Station, which means easy access to anywhere! Tube stops & buses are nearby. There is an expresso machine in the sitting area, and I had a cappuccino anytime I wished. Other hot beverages, i.e. tea, hot chocolate as well as biscuits (cookies) were available at all hours. There was even a computer with free internet access for guests. Our bed was comfortable, the flat screen tv neat, and the unique basin a work of art. And all at such a reasonable place. I LOVED the place.

MessageMy husband, sons (ages 15 and 12) and I enjoyed using the B&B Belgravia as our base on a recent trip to London. We felt comfortable sitting in the lounge and looking through the collection of guide books, and checking e-mail on the hotel's laptop. We loved the quiet location, and the proximity to the large number of rail, tube, and bus routes at Victoria Station. It was so easy to take the tube in from Heathrow, even with our luggage, that we went back the same way. (As far as terrorism goes, we made a personal decision to defy it, and went everywhere by tube or bus. In spite of some lines being closed while we were there, it was still a great way to get around.) We'll be staying at the B&B Belgravia again next time we're in London.

MessageGreat B&B's! My wife and father-in-law have returned from a wonder vacation covering Edinburgh, London, Normandy, and Paris. In London, the B&B Belgravia was awesome. The rooms were very crisp, clean, and new, and location could not be beat--walking distance to many of the attractions. We were in London during incidents on July 7; Karin at the B&B fielded more than a few phone calls from our concerned relatives and friends while we were out for the day. She was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay there. The B&B Belgravia in London should certainly be considered for the next edition! All B&Bs were outstanding locations and values, and we can't say enough about the friendliness of our hosts, especially during the turmoil in London at the beginning of July. We only wish that we could have stay longer at each place!

MessageI used to stay here (last time 1997) when it was the Chesham House, teeny rooms and bath down the hall. Now I had a cool, spacious room with a big bed, flatscreen TV and stylish modern bath. No, it isn't $55 any more, but the location is great (conveniently near Victoria station but on a quiet nice street on the borders of snooty Belgravia) and for the price in today's London I don't think you can beat it. The owners/staff were very pleasant--very eager for you to have the full English breakfast!--and I couldn't find a thing to complain about. I'll certainly go back next time I'm in London (which I hope won't be 8 years).

MessageBest Deal in Belgravia We stayed at the B+B Belgravia May, 2005 for seven nights while we toured London and were very impressed. What impressed us most was the price we paid for the stay - only 89 pounds sterling per night including a full English!

Excellent location (less than 5 minute walk to Victoria Station), very helpful staff, and a very comfortable room. Everyone complains about the size of hotel rooms in London - this was not small, very modern and quiet.

We would not hesitate staying at this B&B/Hotel again and have already recommended it to several friends and family members.

MessageB&B Belgravia...great location and accommodations My wife and I stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. Belgravia B&B seemed to be a good choice because of reviews and location. Since we were coming into Victoria Station from Gatwick airport, we wanted something close by. Belgravia turned out to be an excellent choice. It is located in a quiet and upscale neighborhood and was only a 5 minute walk to Victoria Station (the south end where the mini-mall is). We could easily walk there with our luggage in tow. Our room #9 was on the third floor (no elevators). It overlooked the back of the building so it was quiet and had an ok view. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was nice. We thought that the breakfasts were great. The free internet access was a major bonus. If you had your own laptop, you could connect from your room or there was a PC in the main lobby for your use. Also, the free cappuccino machine was a great touch. The hosts were very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here. Location, Location, Location.

MessageOn a recent trip to London we spent 3 nights at the B&B Belgravia (www.bb-belgravia.com). I made a reservation based on comments on Rick Steve's grafitti wall and we were completely happy with our stay there. It very close to Victoria Station, with a tube stop and arrival point of the Gatwick Express, but still on a quiet residential street. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, the decor modern and restful, the breakfast varied and delicious, and for London,it is not too not expensive. If I am in London again, I will definitely stay there.

MessageOn the recommendation of our son, who lives in Belgravia, we spent five delightful nights at B&B Belgravia. We travel to London quite a lot and have finally found a well-priced, well-appointed, and centrally located home from home. Thank you, Karen and others, for making our stay such an enjoyable experience. We'll be back. smilie
