MessageI feel so fortunate to have found the B& B Belgravia on line. My family and I spent 10 days (May 21 -May 31) in this terrific hotel. I have the utmost praise for the friendly staff, superb location, and comfortable rooms. I hated to leave but hopefully I will have another opportunity to stay at this modern boutique hotel again.

MessageAnother vote for the B+B Belgravia. We stayed there for 5 nights last week, and it was excellent. Between the location, decor and wonderful hosts, we will recommend it to anyone we know going to London.

MessageFor many years I have been looking for THE place to stay in London, a place where the location, the price, the interior and the service were just perfect. Now I’ve found it! The B&B Belgravia is a five-minute walk from Victoria Station, which is convenient when arriving from Gatwick. It is located in a quiet residential street, near a few shops, in what seems to be two former townhouses.

At street level there is a small lounge, where you can relax with a cup of coffee or tea from the coffee machine, which replaces the usual hospitality tray in the room. What a good idea! There is also a laptop with free Internet, which came in handy, a couple of times, and there is a small library of London literature, which was helpful as well.

The breakfast room is also very modern, lots of light and glass around, and we could sit and watch our English breakfast being cooked just in front of us. The breakfast selection was good; in fact we never managed to squeeze in lunch! Of the staff we met 4 girls of various ages, they were all helpful and kind. It was also very useful for us, that we could leave our luggage in an out-of-the-way corridor for a few hours before catching our afternoon flight.

After having worked my way through several Bloomsbury hotels and a few in the Kensington & Chelsea area I will now stop my search. B&B Belgravia may not be what you imagine when you think of a typical place to stay

MessageB&B Belgravia in London – terrific!

A big thumbs-up for B&B Belgravia, which we booked due to the recommendations on the graffiti wall. Four nights at B&B Belgravia wasn't nearly enough. It's got a modern (post-modern?), younger feel - less B&B-esque than some English places we've enjoyed, but still excellent. Karin's a splendid host, chock-full of answers, ideas, and stories (ask her about her spell working at Buckingham Palace). The price - about 85GBP a night, check about multi-night discounts - is excellent value given its quality and location (close to Victoria, but with almost none of Victoria's bustle and noise). We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

B & B Belgravia is an amazing place to stay; the accommodation is top notch and provided everything for my long-stay needs – Internet, cable TV, modern and spacious décor and friendly staff. I especially loved the warm & cozy lounge in the evenings, sitting by the fireplace reading or checking emails. The staff at B & B Belgravia provided a warm and comfortable atmosphere where I could find peace of mind after returning from work each day. I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and contemporary design of furnishings and colours. It was a delight to return home every evening.

Finding B+B Belgravia has made staying overnight in London on business a pleasure! As a female business traveller I find it so much more relaxing and it feels much safer than a big, impersonal hotel. Welcoming, relaxing and simply designed rooms with calming décor, make it like home from home. Having breakfast freshly cooked in front of you makes a fantastic change to avoiding the usual mass-cooked breakfasts. My colleagues & I will stay nowhere else now and I highly recommend it for business or for pleasure...we find it difficult to leave in the morning!”

Just returned from 9 days in London with 18 and 9 yr old sons. B+B Belgravia is clean, full or continental breakfasts included from 7-10AM. It is only 4 blocks to Victoria station. It is newly remodelled with private baths, well-informed hostesses and a large room for this family of 4. Highly recommended and the cost was the best we found. It's quiet and safe with access to Internet in the lobby. TVs and phones, powerful showers with plentiful hot water, shampoo and shower gel included.

Spaceworks is very impressed; the breakfast was lovely and the atmosphere very comfortable. Thank you very much for offering a great alternative to the normal boring mainstream hotels. We give the hotel the big “thumbs-up.” I look forward to staying again on the 17th.

For those of you who'd like to stay close to Victoria Station, there is another excellent option: B&B Belgravia (www.bb-belgravia.com). It has just finished an 18-month renovation and we were totally impressed. Unlike any other traditional English B&B in the area, the property feels like a small contemporary boutique hotel you would find in New York or San Francisco. Everything is brand new. Double room cost GBP89 and it has flat screen TV, high quality linens and powerful hot shower. There is also an open lounge area where you can relax, check your e-mail, watch a movie on a large flat-screen TV and enjoy a cup of coffee any time of the day. Breakfast is cooked right in front of you in an open kitchen. Since Victoria Station is only 5 minutes away, I strongly recommend anyone who wants to stay in the area to check out this property. We were glad that we did.
