MessageBruce, the answer to that depends on so many things, your personal preferences (what you want out of the bike.....cosmetic changes, performance, handling and so on), changes to suit your riding style and not least.....the size of your wallet!

Check out the SV1000 forum: www.sv1000.zyns.com
The question has come up a few times and you'll find loads of advice/suggestions.

MessageHi Andy,
Just a quick note, I bought one of these beasts (30/4/05) after 25 years of 4 cylinder bikes, R1 Blackbird XJR1300 CBR600, thats just the last 4 years. Cant wait for it to be run in. I will keep looking at your site and ask you loads of questions (no doubt) Off out now the sun is out.

MessageHi guys,my first new bike, first digital display, and first v-twin - and enjoying it. Compliments on the site - especially hints and tips.I wanted pipes for the chrome and the sound, but at R3800-00 for a set, your drilling and polishing tips will do the trick. To see what we get up to in South Africa check out galleries on our site bikers.org.za. Ride safe -FINE
