| Message | I was stationed in Bad Hersfeld fron Jan. 63 to Dec 65 ( I Troop). Love the pics. Would like to hear from anyone that was there at time. My wife and I visit Bad Hersfeld every year, when we can. The town has changed a lot but is still nice to visit. |

Go to the on that is marked John McOsker "Boot Of Beer" I am the one in the center with a tan coat on. Along with Earl Hardeman and others you will find Donelly. Is he the same Donnelly that was your buddy? I was in Hq. Squadron Maintenance from 65 to 67. Sure I knew Frisco and all the others. Shakey Burkett was something else. Just about everyone knew Joe Jackman. My room was on the first floor the the left of the orderly room. Do you remember Beaver, Reese, Dick Hall and the others I mentioned in my last posting. | Message | Message for Jerry Dix. I was in 3rd. squad maint from 64 to 67. Can't forget Sgt Jackman and Frisco. Some other names: Dick Hall, James Beaver, Barnes, Tanner, Borges, Faulx, Gray, Reese, Shakey Burkett who ran the motor pool. We must have bumped into each other more than once. Great times at the EM club. I was the guy that played guitar and singing folk songs at the end of the hall by the window facing the main gate. Not easy playing Dylan when most of the guys wanted Hank Snow. What a blast! |

| Message | My 81 year old father, Charlie Coates, was stationed in Bad Kissengen from 1951 to 1953. He was in the 14th Armored Cavalry. He is trying to find his best buddy Morris Saunders. After they finished their Army tour they both joined the USAF. My dad was in the reserves and Mr. Saunders was active duty. Charlie Coates is from Culpeper, VA and to his best recollection Mr. Saunders was from Farmersville, Illinois. The last time they saw each other was approximately 45 years ago when Mr. Saunders was stationed in St. Augustine, Florida. I hope someone can help me. Thank so much to all who served. |
