| Message | Blast from the Past! Hello my Friends! Where are they Now? - Richard Wheatley I joined the BLW CC as a colt in 1974ish from then Bideford Grammar School and played for the colts, 1st & 2nd X1's until joining the Royal Air Force in 1979. I went on the play representative cricket for the RAF and Combined services for quite some years but will always remember my formative tears at Westward Ho! which is where it all began Would love to catch up with some of the guys from that era if the 'old hats' are still around as will be in North Devon supporting my youngest son's cricket tour (he is playing for Claires Court School U13's v Bideford Colts on Monday 31st May weather permitting! Hope to catch with some of you this weekend as I may well be at the club on Saturday or sunday afternoon and it would be nice to have a couple of colds ones with those of you who may still be attached to the club: Andy Davies, Dave Smales, 'Fish', Martin Hockin, Paul Argyle but to name a few! kind regards, Richard Wheatley from somewhere in England (Bucks)! |
