MessageWe got back on Monday morning at 7:30 - a 20 hour drive (should have been 12) and we all slept all day. No windshield wipers for most of the rainy trip, but it was worth every second to be at CrossRoads and see the community built there. Keep up the awesome work! God has something great planned for this, and we're blessed to be a part of it...Thank you sooooo much and God Bless you all!

MessageThanks to everyone for a fabulous weekend! I had a great time. I really appreciate all the hard work and time you all put in it! Everything was so great--the music, Paul's interviews, and especially Saturday night Adoration! WOW! It was so cool. The rain even made it fun...At least I thought so! smilie Thanks a bunch for an awesome time!

MessageTo Larry and the Butz Family,

Thank you so much for offering us (me) the opportunity to glorify God with our musical gifts. I had a wonderful time. Each year it gets better. I love the opportunity to mingle with the other musicians and share gifts. I look forward to next year! I could totally relate to the Nathanael's Creed and their introduction of Old Farts for God! Being the Old Lady of Dayspring, I know just what they mean! But what a blessing it is to still be called by God to serve Him in this way!

Thanks to the people who came to support the festival and their faith. I loved all the little kids, watching them have so much fun! I REALLY LIKED the interview routine with Paul Masek. That was ingenious and fun and informative! Not to mention that it took away from the anxiousness of waiting for the next band to set up.

I'll send you pictures once I weed through them! I took almost 400!!!!

Thanks again for the hospitality (I really liked the cottage!)

God Bless,
Sally (Bolderson)

MessageWow. It was so nice getting away from the noise, cars, computers, telephones, and tv's. The shock on my daughters face when she found out that she could not get a signal on her cell phone was priceless!! God gave us beautiful weather and wonderful worship. Thank you goes to all who worked so hard to put this event on. I know it wasn't easy. You must book Karl Zimmerman and the band soon. His faith shows through in his music and his love for our teens!

I look forward to going again next year and hopefully for years to come.

In Christ,
Debi Pollard

MessageI LOVED SameDayKings. They were so awesome. Their CD also rocks, everybody should check out their site @ www.samedaykings.net. Larry, thank you, thank you, thank you. I think it would be wonderful to bring back SDK next year. I will definitely be back will all of my friends! Another great band, is Nathanael's Creed. They would be awesome to have at CrossRoads 2005! Check out their site @ www.nathanaelscreed.com. CrossRoads was a wonderful experience, especially with the Adoration. I have been to XLT on Project Life 2004, which is ran by the St. Louis Office of Youth Ministry.
I brought a friend to CrossRoads, who was having some trouble with her faith in the Catholic Church and I think that the whole weekend has changed her perspective. It was definitely a life changing experience for me and everyone else involved. But I do regret not going to Confession so that is something I will change for next year! But the outdoor Mass rocked!
So, to Larry, the bands, and any other helpers, and even to the people who just went and added to the experience, “THANK YOU”. God Bless and I’ll see you all next year!

OH! By the way, I am SDK's #1 fan. So really, check out their website, buy their cd (if you haven't already) and spread the word.

Both Nat's Creed and SDK have been musically blessed by our Lord and they use that talent to their advantage. Listen to the words in their songs, you will find that you can relate to them, which makes it all the more special. smilie

MessageI had a different idea of what to expect, so it didn't match up to my expectations.

Having said that, it was awesome.

We had a cabin and our kids camped out in a tent. It was nice enough, considering that I'm not much of a camper.

I was hoping for Eucharistic Adoration to resemble more of what I have come to experience at XLT.

It wasn't bad, it was just different.

I partuclarly like the variety of music...locals (Karl and Same Day Kings) as well as out of state talents. Verrrrrry cool.

Food was okay...at best.

I liked the cross section of people in attendance also. People from not just St. Louis but from different states. I thought that was pretty awesome.
