  GUESTBOOK

Here is where you can both read the messages left by other visitors to the website and, if you want, leave your own message.

If you are an ex-TCS person, then please, please, please leave a message -- but, of course, anyone else is very welcome to do the same.

*Please note: if you are a former student or teacher of Herringswell Manor School then rather than leave
a message here, you may prefer to go to the new website set up by Joe Dostal just for you:  Herringswell Manor School

MessageGreetings to all Taymouth Castle ex pupils. I'm researching the history of the Taymouth golf course and club (where I'm currently a member) and would very much like to hear from people who knew the place in the 1970s. Stories of playing golf or photos of the castle/clubhouse/course at that time would be very much appreciated.

MessageI spent one year at TCS. I roomed with Bob McIntire. I remember the students from Lebanon, one was Shadie and was confined to a wheelchair. The other guy was a prince but loved everything American, especially the theme from "Shaft". After school that year I was in Jedda, Saudi Arabia and looked down the road one afternoon to see one of our teachers walking down the road toward our compound. It was the teacher that Don talks about, he wasn't Scottish, he was English. I will get his name from my stepmother as soon as I can and will post it. Maybe someone will recognize it.

MessageI attended HMS at the same time Marc and Tom Tincoff did. Some memories of mine - I remember one teacher who used to yell "Oh Ferrets" at the boys when they were bad and sling a piece of chalk at them. The boys would duck behind their desks. There was another boy who used to complete huge math problems in his head before the teacher had time to finish it on the chalkboard. Someone set off a stinkbomb in one of the class rooms one time. We had the 2 boys from Saudi Arabia whose father was a prince?? The Christmas dance held downstairs in the headmasters part of the house, all the girls entered via the private staircase. I'm terrible with remembering names but would love to hear from others who may remember me. I have very fond memories of the one year I spent there before transfering to the American School at Gt. Yarmouth. the HMS website is under construction or I would have used it. thanks for letting us post here.
