MessageAmazing. Wish I could speak Aramaic so I could appreciate the poetry. I look forward to selecting my favorite translation. Your efforts are a testimony to reincarnation, for surely more than one lifetime has been needed. Much success in your career as a heart surgeon. I suspect you are destined to make breakthoughs which will be taught to others, for how else could you touch more than one person at a time as you have in your avocation?

MessageWith great interest I read the Aramaic Peshitta Primacy for Dummies, also because I am a member of the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch. Here is another proof for you which makes a lot of translations look a bit silly:

in Matthew 19-25, Mark 10-25 and Luke 18-25 it says: It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The aramaic word involved here is Gamlo (gomel - miem - lomed - olef) which could mean camel. But another translation for this word is a thick rope used to tie boats ashore. This meaning would be a lot more plausible because as you know he was talking mainly to fishermen.

Best regards

MessageMy family is From Mountenegro, Beside Sarajevo.
I live in Montreal, Canada. But in my childhood iwas raised there 1979 for One year. Mountenergro speaks the oldest serbian language and more religious traditions then most of the balkan area. I started reading the bible at age 21. I knew that so much deep spiritual meaning is missing. Jesus Christs favourite language is Aramaic. And his holy church in heaven its prefered. why!! Its the most spiritual language in the world. The greeks are very Jealous of the Oriental Churches, becuase they were established before them. The Vulgate the first latin bible used greek text. But the greek used the Syrian which western society and greeks dont want to give credit to. The jewish prey not in Hebrew language. When I hear Asshuri language and Syraic I can understand the language and it hidden spiritual meanings and mentality. I get very offended how The syraic language, music, liturgy scriptures is oppressed by Greece and Europe. Macedonia and greece dont get along anymore. Many words were inserted by Altin, english scholars that were unheard of before.

MessageWhat you are doing, for free is really a good service to those who want to study aramaic seriously. I just learned the first three letters (and of course numbers) and am hot on the trail of becoming a fluent aramaic scholar. Thank-you for making this possible. Really thank-you. It just makes sense to me that the first new testament would be in Aramaic.
