MessageI believe in all thing happen fore a reason. My son Wesley had cancer at the age of 23 months. He had a willms tumor in his left kidney, and they had to remove the entire kidney. He took some chemo treatments and is health today thanks to ST JUDE's Hospital in Memphis, Tn. Early this spring he decided to start ridding Bull's at a local (Lazy C Rodeo school), in Jacksonville,IL. He has dreamed of doing this for over 15 years, and his mother and I told him he could not!! But he is know 21 years old and he can make his own decision know. So he road in the local county fair rodeo, he did not cover his bull. But he love's it.
He is know ridding for Missouri Valley Collage, in Marshall, MO
Thanks to Shane,it lives in all of use. GOD bless his family, and those who put their lives on the line every time crawl on the back of Bull or a Horse.
Thank You
Bill Oxley

MessageShane, I got your book "Nothin But Try" for Mother's Day from my daughters. They never had the pleasure of meeting you but I did and my sons college rodeoed with you. I can remember being at Tall Paul's with the DWU rodeo team and all the other college teams were there. We had so much fun that night! I also got to spend time with you in Valley City, ND when I was timing the rodeo and you and Jim Whiting were judging. We had supper one night and had a wonderful visit. Your attitude was amazing. I have your picture over my desk at my office and you are a major inspiration in my life. I sent you many e-mails before you went to join the Lord in Heaven and I can remember praying for you the night before you left us and coming in to my office in the morning and checking you website. It was the first thing I did every morning. I remember reading the news and sitting and crying because you were gone. But not really gone because I believe you live in many of us as you keep me going when the going gets tough. I think of what you went through and the Faith you had and it gives me hope and every day. I literally see your smiling face above my desk every day. Thank you for touching my life. The book is awesome and what a tribute to you. I love the pictures and learning more about you. God Bless

Messagesmilie Hey Shane,

I remember seeing you several times in any rodeo competition. So its been a while until I just saw your face again. That made me happy. Im still watchin bullriding and other activities and keep on going. Eventhough, I really enjoy working with kids. mostly 4H kids and with myself being hearing impaired. It is one of the greatest challenge that I had in the past. I always come with different challenges everyday. But I always have the strength from a lot of people who has passed on, such as lane frost, johnny cash, my grandad, my mother in law, my best friend's wife, and you. I sure hope to see you again soon someday. We will keep on looking for you knowing that your ok with all of the bulls up there. That must be wonderful. Say hello to BO for us. He was a good bull i can remember.

Take care and keep on riding, theres a lot of people all over the earth that need spiritual strength from you. Go to them and give them a lil.

Thank you and see you soon,

Patric and Jana
