MessageThis entry is simply to acknowledge that visitors signing the guestbook prior to this date may have been either visitors to the Jollies 3 bedroom Townhouse or visitors to the Jollies 1 bedroom Apartment.

As of mid September 2005 we have changed the Jollies Apartment into an Annex and now let it to larger groups who book the Jollies Townhouse and require a fourth bedroom, an extra lounge and an extra bathroom.

The Jollies Townhouse continues to be a rental on it's own, of course, but the annex can be added to the booking if required. The Annex cannot be booked on it's own.

Thank you very much to all our visitors who have taken the time and trouble to write a few words in the Jollies guestbook troughout our very first holiday season.

Roger & Lynne hope that they will have the opportunity to welcome each of you back again to Jollies in the very near future.

MessageMyself and my fiancee spent two weeks in the Jollies apartment, and had a wonderful holiday. Car hire is a must to get the most out of your time here.

The apartment is clean, quiet, and well maintained. The house managers are very friendly and helpful. Benimar has many excellent places to eat and drink, with all tastes catered for (including Vegetarian).

Will definitely look at coming back with a larger group in the future, as we could have done with somewhere to relax of an evening. This said it did not spoil a great break.

smilie

MessageWe stayed at the apartment for 10 days in Aug 05 and found it absolutely first class. The property is clean, well maintained and has everything you could possibly need for your holiday. I strongly, strongly recommend the Hong Kong Chinese up the street as the food, service and prices are excellent. Woody's Bar in Benimar which is 2/3 minutes drive away is good value and handy for daily newspapers. I would recommend the beach at Guardamar but would stay up the northern end as it is nice and quiet (and wider). You definetly need a hire car to get around but I got one quite cheap via Holiday Autos and had no problems with the hire car company. A visit to the little island off Santa Pola is recommended, ferries from Santa Pola. We had a very nice day there snorkelling. A visit to Torrevieja is recommended for an evening stroll along the promenade viewing the various items on sale at the roadside stalls, some bargains to be had. If I was to return to the Costa Blanca I would most certainly book the Jollies apartment or townhouse as it is very good value and an excellent facility. Thank You

MessageWe had a fantastic holiday at the townhouse which, seems to have everything you would want and for any time of year!

After relaxing days on the nearby beautiful beach, we went for lovely meals in some of the recommended restaurants. Returning to the townhouse later to chill on the roof terrace with sangria and candles.

Its a very peaceful setting with views across to the mountains. Driving around the nearby towns and villages there is lots to see and do. It is a beautiful part of mainland spain. We have already talked to our friends about coming back!
Thank you so much smilie

MessageHaving just arrived home from a week in the townhouse, we thought we must right a few words. The townhouse was great and every detail had been thought of to make the stay comfortable and the views from the roof terrace were lovely.

Being 10 minutes away from the beach was no problem and we spent the seven days there as it was so nice. The restaurant were good too with a great choice for everybody. The supermarket which was just round the corner had everything you would want.

All in all, a great time had by everybody!

MessageWe have just arrived home after spending a wonderful holiday in the Jollies town house. The house is immaculate and equipped with everything that you could possibly need during your stay.
The roof terrace was perfect for sunbathing during the day and offered stunning views of the sunset in the evening, an ideal setting for a relaxing drink!!
We spent some leisurely days on nearby Guardamar beach, which is lovely and clean. The children loved body-boarding there.
We found a wide choice of restaurants offering everything from English to Indian cuisine, so something for everyone.
We had a wonderful holiday at Jollies and are already planning our next visit. We would recommend Jollies to anyone!!

MessageHaving just spent a week in this property, I will be recommending it to all my friends.
I found the house to be immaculately clean, with all the facilities needed for a very comfortable stay.
Many a pleasant breakfast was had on the roof terrace and the sunsets over the distant mountains, with a glass of the local vino in the evening, were stunning.
Evidently time and effort have been spent creating a beautiful home. It is a perfect place to spend a week's holiday.
