| Message | A few years ago I wrote this message to the college students I was teaching. I place it here again as the sentiments still apply. To the Students that visit my webpage. This site has approximately 500 visits per month from people that take inspiration from the journey that I've taken in life. No journey is easy and I'm sure that yours isn't either. But one thing is for certain. Our journeys are individual and sometimes the things you do or say make an impact on others. I choose to leave this site active to help inspire those that are following somewhat of the same path that I've taken. | Message | Hi ms Coffer my name is Evelynn Garcia, and I'm a student at atterbury job corp. I just want to say that i was truly touched by your story. It took guts and courage to tell your story to the world. You have made a gate way for others that want to share their story that might have been to scared to do so, or just want to feel good about themselves and to know that their not by themselves. I can't tell you and i won't tell you i know how you feel because i really don't. But i can relate to you in so many ways of wanting to be accepted for who you are. And not what society thinks you should be. I think you truly are a gift from god. I don't know you or personally had a one on one with you but I've seen you around campus like in the leadership meeting we had in the theater. You have made me open up my mind and see that i should never be scared to stand up for what i believe in even when my close ones don't approved, or when their looks like their no hope left. Your parents should be proud of you, because instead of embarrassment you brought honor and dignity to them. Continue to do what you need to do i view you as a human being and a great person.
