MessageLove the site Paul, your wiring diagrams are wonderful! Following your instructions I have just fitted headlamp relays and cured the minor problem of only having 10V at the lights!

MessagePaul,
As a factory V8 owner I've often seen your useful comments on the V8 register bulletin board but I'd not previously had a look at your web-site. And what a web-site it is! This really is a wealth of real hands-on valuable info. As someone who prepares the odd piece of technical literature I appreciate just how much work has gone into this site - and all for free! Perhaps you get some reward from seeing just how many people visit your site - I shall certainly be returning!
Many thanks,
Bob

MessageHi guys,

Wanted to let you know that this is a great site. I have looked at several MGB sites and find this one particularly useful.

I am interested in your Watch this space for the Boot latch safety device.

I had a funny problem where a new girlfriend had all her professional photography equipment and clothes in the boot of my MGB. I got out of the car at the airport to drop her off as she had a photoshoot to fly to and my bloody boot hatch would not disengage. There were a few minutes of panic as i thought about how i would open the boot... we actually started laughing as it was the first date we had spent together.

I cursed the thing about ten times and tried once more pushing very firmly on the boot and it disengaged.

Shortly afterwards i checked all alignment. It hasn’t happened since but i want a backup plan. the girlfriend is still around so i guess the MGB has must be quite charming.

I have already done something on the front boot similar to the technique described in your site.

Interested to hear how you tackle this problem.....

Anyway, good work. There is plenty of useful stuff in this site.

Thanks
Ivan Bate
