| Message | Dennis excellent site we are 3 generations on gpo/bt . The stories you recount are typical we must be a different breed to outside industry I have just done 16 years & am a TO on Newsite office Greenfield planning to you & me. Dad did 34 years finishing as a dlo uncle did 37 as a cabler & grandad 40 years on maintenance. So you can see it is in the blood,I know we all have bad days but I wouldent want to do anything else we have such good camaradery Cheers Rich |

| Message | Came across this site by accident while searching for Dave Milners BT photos site. As someone who still works for BT in Sheffield I really enjoyed the stories of life working from Maltravers Rd, some of which were told to me after I joined the company in 1979.
