MessageGreat site. KROY has always fascinated me though by the time I was old enough to listen to radio KROY's hay days were over. I have worked with a few former KROY staffers and some that were accross town at KXOA trying despratly to beat KROY. There are some great stories behined this station.

MessageI have a $100 bundle of KROY kurrency that has been gathering dust. Pictures of Buck Herring and Jack Hammar on the bills. I must have saved them for a reason. I'm not so sure about my reason for keeping them now.

Any interest out there?

MessageEat a banana and I gotta go. I miss you guys. I was around 15 and listening (and taping) some of the old days. I wish there was somewhere I could share my recordings. I always enjoy the music and DJ's....

MessageI worked at KROY during the "wonder years" and look fondly back at the fun we had. Dwight, he was one of a kind. And Johnny, well my last name is "Hyde."

It was fun looking at this website.

MessageJohn, Ali, Myron, Larry, Vicki and all KROY Guestbook signers...

We just need to check in here once in awhile and let you know that a bunch of us old KROY deejays from the sixties, seventies and eighties are still hanging together and enjoying your comments. As big a part of our lives as KROY was and still is it is gratifying to know how many of you remember it fondly. It was a labor of love for us at the time and now it remains the highlight of our careers.

Dave Williams,
KROY 1970-1973
