| Message | I find this Fallascoso site most interesting because of the number of people with the Di Valerio name associated with it. My branch of the Di Valerio family comes from Alfedena in the Province of L'Aquila, and I have traced my heritage back to a Domenico Di Valerio who lived and died in Alfedena in the mid 1700's. Has anyone researched the Di Valerio name in Fallascoso and found any relationship to the Di Valerios of Alfedena? If so, I'd love to hear from you. My email address is domer52@adelphia.net |

| Message | My husband's maternal great grandfather was from the Abruzzi region, and we are trying to do some geneological sleuthing. The names were DiValerio/ Carmela D'Orio. Nicholas DiValerio came to the US prior to 1905 we believe. Thanks for any input. The site is simply beautiful. We would LOVE to visit someday.  |

| Message | June is a granddaughter of Rosa and Stefano Taddeo of Fallascosa. Her Mother was the Maddalina the firstborn of Rosa and Stefano. Rosa came to the USA with two young childre in 1901 to meet her husband who had preceded them. They settled in Cleveland, Ohio and had a total of 8 children of whom only one still survives Anna Age 86(approx). June and Hugh and Junes sister Evelyn and her husband Angelo hope to visit Fallascosa this may. we plan a similar visit to two villages of provincia Campobasso of Molise. We have enjoyed your website very much. and appreciate the amount of dedication and hard work that its construction and maintenance required and requires. We will try to obtain the names, birtdates, dates of death of all descendants of Rosa and Stefano as well as the family of Antonio Taddeo, also of Fallascosa and a relative of Rosa anf Stefano. While reading your guestbook, I came across a note from an individual, Joanne DiGinto, in regards to Maria DiTollo and Carmello Francione. I think Maria is my grandfather's sister.
