| Message | I am looking for information on my maternal great-grandmother's family. Her name was Concetta Passerini, and was from Chieti. She came to the US, and lived in Buffalo NY. She married Ferdinando Delucci, and had 3 children. My grandmother Marie was her only daughter. I believe that my great grandfather's family was also from the same area. | Message | How wonderful to again visit Fallascoso via the website. In 1977, I visited Fallascoso. My maternal grandparents were Michele and Rosa Taddeo; daughter is my mom, Rosa Maria (Taddeo) D'Orazio (92 years old) and their son was Donato Taddeo. I am also related to the DiPietrantonio, DiValerio, and Oliverio families. I also visted my paternal side in Civitella Messr Raimondo; the D'Orazio and Masciantonio families. I am also the daughter of John D'Orazio and I was born and raised in Ardmore, PA. I have lived in Buffalo, New York for most of my life and I work at the University at Buffalo. | Message | When checking the Chieti province of Italy, I came across your website and am excited to see the name Guiseppi Francione. We were told our father's family came from a village called Rocca Marice (not sure of the spelling). Family members have traveled there, but claim the cemetary shows no name of francione. Perhaps it is because the village he was really from was Fallascoso! Thank you for this website. It is wonderful. |
