| Message | What a lovely web site! I share the Abruzzo heritage, but from another village. My father came from Lettopalena, my mother from Colledimacine. Although both arrived in the US long before WW2 they heard many sad stories of the destruction and hardship suffered by the people of the villages. How very brave the young men of the villages were to ban together to help rid the intruders.  |

| Message | First let me say your site is wonderful, very organized and informative. Secondly, I wanted to let you know I was ecstatic when I came across your site. As you can see i am a Coladonato and every now and then i do a little genealogy searching. My grandmother married into the Coladonato family and now lives in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Her husband passed away nearly 50 years ago and I am constantly looking to find information on him and his family. Her family is from Abruzzo, though I’m not sure of the exact location, but she had told me he was from Fallascoso, so this site is a real find for me! And, in conclusion, I just really wanted to thank you for your site!  |
