MessageWhere I shoot, the geezers on the left end of the firing line are shooting at targets 100-200 yards away with old military stuff, hunting and target rifles. At the other end of the firing line are the Yuppies blasting away at man-sized targets twenty yards away with assault rifles.

My little all-shooters collection includes two Mosin Nagant 91/30s, a Mauser M48, and a Springfield 1903A3, but it has an after-market National Ordnance receiver But the rest is GI, built from spare parts in the 60's. It's a great shooter, but hardly a collector. The barrel is 1942 Remington.

I run a Buddhist blog called "Buddhism for Tough Guys" where I frequently make the case that long-shot marksmanship exercises the shooter's mindfulness and is very meditative.

MessageNice collection Mr.Burner!Im a collector myself and Im always glad to be in the company of other gun enthusiast whether online or in person. My intrest in firearms started when I was 9yrs old, that was the day when my daddy took me out to a peanut feild and let me fire off a few shots with a Revelation 22cal semi/auto rifle and a Glenfeild 12ga shotgun(which kicked me back a few steps)both of which I still have, later that year he bought me one of my own,a 20 ga shotgun after that I was permanatley afflicted with the gun bug!,,,,Keep the gun bug!
