Your message seems to contain one or more inappropriate words

Several people are getting this message when trying to leave a message in the guestbook for my sister's memorial site (at www.robyninca.com).

I cannot find any objectionable words in the posts. Here's one:

Hi, Robyn Lynn... I sure miss you!

Your girls are beautiful young women, and when I read the notes here from family and friends, it's easy to remember how deeply you are loved and by so many.

Love, Dad

I did a post with just the word "test" which did show up, plus 2 other people posted today so it isn't a universal problem.

Is there a list somewhere of inappropriate words or is there some malfunctioning filter I can turn off?

Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback.

As of right now the inappropriate words are predefined at a system level and it is not possible to change this for users.

Since this has been a much requested feature for some time now I will change it so that you can add and remove "bad words". This feature will be implemented in mid-January next year.

It's now the latter half of February. Has this feature been implemented? If so, how does one disable the filter altogether? (Since I moderate my guestbook, it makes no sense having this feature enabled.)

The feature has finally been implemented, long overdue as you have noticed :(

In the Control Panel you select:

Settings -> Guestbook options

and uncheck the box labeled Enable Wordfilter

This is just a quickfix for now. I will add custom wordlists at a later stage.
