| Message | Griz Thank you sir for your blog. I happened along and was very touched by the posts and your work in keeping it up. I have been home from Iraq for 17 months and will be going back again in the months to come. The biggest heartache I have had since coming home is having to listen to my fellow citizens bash our efforts there. It truly breaks my heart. I have tried to impress upon my children the importance of why we are there, and why we must remain until the job is done. How do you explain to your 8 year old, as he cries into his pillow, that dad has to go away again when all around are throngs of voices saying the mission is all wrong? My hope is that one day, not to far away, other 8 year olds will not have to worry about IED's, or death squads, or their parent being taken in the middle of the night. I hope that all Iraqi's can share in the more mundain issues of life, like school,work,and taxes instead of explosions. I will book mark this sight on our home computer. I will now be able to show my kids that alot of people do believe in what we are doing. Thank you and May our Lord strengthen you and keep you safe. God bless you. Pat |

| Message | I like this blog, too, Griz. In fact, I like it a little bit better! This page is less busy, more cozy. The background makes a difference; it feels more like home, like I ought to have a cup of coffee next to me while I'm reading. Feels more like reading notes from a friend. I like the news on the other site. I like seeing what's important to you, and I enjoy reading the comments from mdconservative and Old Sgt. You give me enough that I can work my mind and then get on to my domestic duties. (....speaking of which, the dryer is done....) They're both winners in my book. Doubly so because I've gotten sick of the mainstream folks and hardly ever read their stuff any more. "See" you around. |

| Message | My daughter is a model for Planit M in NYC. I have never met Patrick but it sounds like he is a pretty nice guy to do that for the troops in Iraq. My daughter started working for them in Sept of this year. Patrick was not there at the time my daughter was in NYC. I have recently been in contact with him and he told me he was back. I really enjoyed your website. Keep up the good work. |
