MessageDear Roger
Many thanks for an interesting site. You've done everything! My career as an engineer began at the age of 8 years. Following an industrial apprenticeship I gave extensive and unique support to education as an engineer, designer, tutor and as a volunteer. Many radio demonstrations given to schools within the CDT curriculum. Years spent building a G2DAF receiver. Currently QRP with stealth indoor and outdoor VHF/UHF Slim Jims. Aim at HF for the future. One son studying to become a sound engineer despite a head full of heavy metal music! 73 David (Twickenham)

MessageGud evening Roger; I have aquestion the QRP transceiver from sprat. The rig is your mininimal art transceiver"6v6 Mk V. I am presently awaiting my membership update. However, please fill me in on a few circuit items. The ht value at the top of the 47k resistor and the value of the variable resistor switched to the screen grid of the 6v6?

I plan to use this scheme to drive an 813. I'm starting early to get ready for glow bugs skn night next new years. Good grief, I have all these parts in my hell box so here goes. Yes i have already re firbed a micro wave xfmer for the Htr and plate voltage. I roll over to79 come May so if Im going to do it , no more but what if,s. Hope you can help me out here. I really enjoy your e-site. Tnx es 73s Peter

MessageHi Roger

Thoroughly enjoyed the site, when I grow up I'll do one like this smilie

Just come back to amateur radio after 20 years... my how things have changed, apparently one doesn't tune the band hi 2 lo anymore !

Still, the morse isn't as rusty as I thought, I'm doing better on 20m than the app for my iPad smilie

Once I get my ten ted argonaut sorted, I'll keep a listen out for you

MessageHi, great site, wish I had found it a few years ago, I work a lot of QRP with home brew mini mag loops and random wires dipoles etc. my best yet though not strictly QRP on that occasion is from Toronto to Vk & ZL on 20watts with a random 2 lumps of stereo wire in a 90 degree array terminated with a wonder wand. You have given me some great ideas for ultra low HF at least receive wise for now.
Regards
Damian
