MessageWhere can I find good Armenian food/social events? I grew up in Rhode Island, where there are Armenian places at every corner, Watertown is close by, Church picnics are going on, the Husenig Grove picnic is unbelievable. I am not talking about middle eastern places that can pass as Armo, I am talking about straight up Armenian joints. I order things from California and Massis Bakery in Watertown, MA all the time, but there has got to be something in Atlanta. Is there a church picnic there? I attended mass a couple times last year and never thought to ask.

Let me know if you have any information.

MessageHello everybody! My name is Ken and I am from the atlanta area(born and raised!).Im not of armenian origin but I have a deep love for the armenian people and their culture!Im of course aware of the glorious fact that the armenian nation was the first nation to adopt christianity as its established religion.I've never been to the church here in atlanta but I do hope to go someday for a service in the near future.I've been trying to teach myself the armenian language with cd/cassette tapes that I bought not to long ago but I would like to know if there's a remote possibility of anyone within the commnuity who would be willing to give me instruction?Id be willing to pay for the instruction because I really have a strong desire to learn the language! If there is anyone out there then please contact me at this following e-mail address... MessageThank you for creating this great website. We have lived in Kennesaw GA for a few years and need to be involved in our Armenian community. My husband is from GA but I am from California. We recently had a son and I have been searching for an Armenian nanny for him. It is very important to us that he grow up speaking is mother tongue. If you or anyone you know is interested, please email me at [email protected]. Thank you and God Bless!!

MessageMother's Maiden name is Krikorian and I am an artist member of AIWA out of Boston. My husband and I have been living in the Sugar Hill, GA area for 4 years now but miss the trips to Watertown for Armenian flat bread and other staples.... Am delighted to hear there is an Armenian Church community in the Atlanta area and would love to compare notes with other artists of Armenian heritage. I am still learning more about my family's history and well appreciate the courage of my grandparents to come here to America and live the American dream....My son is a single 31 year old engineer in Houston and is just starting to learn to cook like his grandmother....We tried cheoreg rolls this past Christmas....

MessageI just wanted to mention that I've seen the newsletter constantly improve. This one in July '08 is the best one yet! Keep up the great work.
I find that in any group of people, public presentation is the best way to reach both members & anyone else that is interested in that Organization. I personally like to get the latest info on the Armenian Curch in Armenia & the local events.
PS. The Recipe of the month Rocks!
